Plant-Insect-Microbe Interactions Symposium

On April 16th 2015 from 10.30-17.30 CPSC co-hosts a symposium on plant-insect-microbe interactions and their effects on plant function and productivity.

Interactions between plants, insects and microbes are more common and may be
more important than recognised previously. However, surprisingly little research has
been done on such interactions and their effects on plant function and productivity. A
few systems are well described at the molecular or physiological level, others at the
evolutionary or ecological level, but there is little integration between approaches.

For the symposium we have invited a number of scientists with expertise in such
interactions to give overviews and perspectives, from the molecular to the ecological
scale. The symposium is thus an excellent opportunity to update your knowledge and
expand your perspectives. It is also an outstanding opportunity to meet colleagues
interested in plants, insects, microbes and their various interactions.

So whether your research has a systems or mechanistic perspective, whether
your interests are at the population or molecular level: Reserve the day!
