ENCAPP 2016: Updates, photos and abstracts from the conference on Malta 26-29 April

 

Scientists working with algae and photosynthesis have gathered on Malta between 26-29 April to present and discuss a broad palette of topics related to Algal and Plant Photosynthesis. The conference sessions include:

  • Photosynthetic electron flow
  • CO2 & carbon metabolism
  • Light acclimation
  • Engineering
  • Chloroplast structure and assembly
  • Omics
  • Communities
  • Modelling metabolism
  • Innovative algae research for a bio-based economy
  • Industrial cultivation

Birger Lindberg Møller from Copenhagen Plant Science Centre gives an inspirational talk on synthetic plant biology.
